Who we are
peplify ("we", "us", "our") operates the website peplify.io and supplies research-grade peptides for laboratory use. If you have any question about this policy, contact us at hello@peplify.io.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to fulfil your order and run the business:
- Contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
- Delivery details — street address, suburb, state and postcode.
- Order information — the items you ordered, quantities, prices, any discount code used, and any notes you add.
- Technical information — your IP address and basic browser information, recorded with each order for fraud prevention and security.
- Correspondence — messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
We do not collect or store payment card details on this website. Payment is arranged separately with our team.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
How we use WhatsApp
When you place an order, your order summary and delivery details are prepared as a message that you send to us through WhatsApp. Once sent, that message is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, and by us as described here. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, contact us by email instead.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary:
- Delivery partners — your name and address, so your order can be delivered
- Our web host — which stores the website and database on our behalf
- Professional advisers — such as our accountant, where required
- Law enforcement or regulators — where we are legally required to disclose
Where your information is stored
Our website and database are hosted on servers operated by our hosting provider. Some of these servers, and some service providers, may be located outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled consistently with this policy.
Cookies and similar technology
This website uses your browser's local storage to remember the contents of your basket between visits. That information stays on your own device, is not sent to us, and is not used to track you across other websites. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Keeping information secure
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Administrator accounts are protected by hashed passwords and lock out after repeated failed logins. Access to order data is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax and business purposes — generally at least five years — and then delete or de-identify them. You can ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email hello@peplify.io and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@peplify.io so we can try to put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
